We always publish as E-Books and sometimes paperbacks depending on the title. Please do not submit if your dream is to have your title in paperback in a book store. This is not our main focus and it will waste everyone’s time.
We expect authors to be pro-active in marketing their work.
Before submitting please read the details below:
- We only accept submissions by email. Please do not send paper submissions. These will not be read and will be disposed of without exception.
- We do not mind if you have submitted your work simultaneously to other publishers or agents but would like to know if you are waiting for responses.
- We are particularly interested in unpublished authors.
- Please make sure your manuscript has been well edited. We suggest you read the book “Self-Editing for Fiction Writers” by Renni Browne and Dave King.
Genre’s we are looking for:
- All types and sub-genre’s of romantic fiction, and also escapist books for men. We are particularly interested in Regency romances and short story collections.
- Any other genre of fiction which is an escapist read.
- No erotica, literary fiction, titles aimed at young children (under 10) or poetry.
- Our ideal word count is approx 70,000 words, but we will consider anything between 20,000 and 90,000 words.
- We are also interested in re-publishing books where rights have reverted back to the author.
In the body of your email please include the following information:
- Your name
- The Title of the Work
- Approx Word count (rounded up to the nearest 1000).
- Genre i.e. Regency Romance
- Please include a short description about yourself (maximum 500 words).
Please only send one manuscript at a time.
- Please include a synopsis or blurb – maximum of two pages as a separate attachment.
- Only send the first three chapters of your manuscript double spaced as a Word document as a separate attachment.
- After you have sent your email, you will receive an auto response that it arrived. Your submission will be read as quickly as possible, and you will receive a personal response but it may take up to three months for your submission to be read.
