Who is the Publisher? The publisher is E-Scape Press Ltd, Registered Number 06710200 Registered Office, 5 Jupiter House, Calleva Park, Aldermaston, Reading, Berkshire RG7 8NN, United Kingdom. Please do not send submissions to this address. They will not be read under any circumstances. Why are you doing this? We saw a gap in the market for high quality, affordable escapist books and e-books. We had the technology and the desire, so decided to take a risk. We’re not answerable to any large company or shareholders who look only at sales figures and current trends. We work closely with all our authors so that they get feedback and input into the final book. Why are your paperback books slightly higher priced than mainstream publishers? Because we are an independent press, we do small print runs, and therefore the manufacturing costs are higher. Why ebooks? Ebooks are a very overlooked aspect of publishing. It’s getting better, but a quiet revolution is taking place. More and more people are buying e-books to read on their mobile phones or reading device. You don’t have to carry a book around with you and they are more environmentally friendly than paperbacks. Of course, if you prefer to have a paper copy, then we have those too. Will you pass my details onto someone else if I buy a book from you? Absolutely not.
